Gami Sellang is a joint project organized by Rotaract Club of Kandy joining with the Rotaract
Clubs of the Zone in order to celebrate the Sinhala and Hindu New Year on the 1st of April 2018 at the Sr. Anthonys' College primary grounds. The project
aims at bringing all the Rotaractors together to have some quality and joyful time.
The traditional New Year games were organized for all the Rotaractors who participated in the event. The project
was also organized to promote the theme of the year “Engage Rotaract – Refine
friendship”. Through this project the theme’s true meaning was achieved, where
Rotaractors got a chance to meet each other and to
build up new friendships. Some forgotten and not very popular traditional games were introduced to the
new generation.
