“Friendship Beyond the Sea” was a project conducted by Team Kandy under the avenue International Services in order to celebrate the
International day of Happiness which was held on the 20th of March.
This was an online project where all the members of the club, together, contacted rotaractors from various
districts via social media to ask them the question "What make you happy as a rotaractor?". By the end of the week we
gathered more than fifty responses that carried various sentiments each rotaractor shared about their experience as fellow rotaractors. These comments were then published on the official Facebook page of the club.
This project provided the platform for the members of the club to make connections with international rotaractors and enabled them to make new friends through rotaract.
