Donating clothes to charity is a wonderful thing. The Rotaract Club of
Kandy did a clothes donation project on the 14th of Januay 2016 under
the avenue of Community Service.With the help of Rtn.John Baskaran and
Conal Sudarma Suriyadasa we found a girls
orphanage in Mannar. With the help of our members in the club and with
the help from our family members we managed to buy them new clothes and
we donated them to Annai Illam Orphanage in Mannar on the day of Thai Pongal to bring
a smile on their faces. Girls in Annai Illam
and members of our club enjoyed the day while celebrating Thai Pongal
with the blessing from SuriyaBhagavan.
