Club Assembly

Club Assembly of the RAC Kandy acts as the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the club. This is yet another signature club service project organized annually. The purpose is this is to exchange the ideas, options of the members. This is an open forum where all the club related matters are discussed. During the club assembly the by-laws of the club is also amended. Club assembly is a good opportunity to each and every member to raise their voice on any club related matter, present a suggestion, to point out something inappropriate where alterations can be made in the future for the betterment of everyone. The club assembly was held on 28th of October 2018, chaired by  Rtr. Rehan.

Find Your way

Find Your Way is a Human Resource Development project of the Rotaract Club of Kandy in collaboration with the Imperial College Kandy, which is a session on career guidance and higher education was held on the 28th of October 2018 at the Kandy Club. The session was conducted by Mr. Shehan, a representative of Imperial College Kandy. During the session he was able to explain about the importance of CIMA, ACCA, Business Management and the opportunities it would open to the students to excel greater heights in their career. Rtr. Kenneth Cottling chaired the project.

IDYE Programme between RID 3220 and RID 3232 - Hosting Indian delegates from Chennai, India

As a part of the Inter - District Youth Exchange Programme between RID 3232 – Chennai, India and RID 3220 Sri Lanka & Maldives, Rotaract Clubs of Kandy, University of Peradeniya and Katugastota Region hosted 10 delegations from RID 3232 on the 27th of October 2018.
The Objective of the IDYE – hosting is the exchange of cultures between the two countries. Touring the delegates of India allowed us as a club to focus on the cultural exposure and tourist spots that express our values as Sri Lankans.
An insight tour to various locations that hold the story of Kandy and Sri Lanka. The exchange of knowledge and customs of different cultures allowed each and every one participating to understand and acknowledge the cultures of India as well. The project chaired by Rtr. Shehan.
