Hands of Healing was a project conducted for Thalassemia,
which is one of the signatures projects conducted by the Rotaract Club of Kandy
for the past 13 years and this time we took it to another level as we had a
blood screening center while creating awareness about Thalassemia for the
general public.
The project was held on the 6th of June 2018 at
YMCA from 9am to 1pm. Apart from informing the audience what Thalassemia is and
how one could, prevent it a blood screening was done for all participants for
free of charge.
It was yet another remarkable milestone in the history of
projects done by Team Kandy in order to prevent Thalassemia.
