3R-Rotaractors’ Rifle Range

3R-Rotaractors’ Rifle Range is a rifle shooting gallery arranged for the public who attended KCC’s annual ‘Splash’ festive fair. While collecting a little fund for a worthy course, 3R enabled the shooters to test their accuracy, precision and concentration with an air rifle. Successful targeting was awarded with gifts and certificates. It was held from 21^st December 2018 to 26^th December 2018. Project chaired by Prospective Member Nalim.

The project Christmas Carols is an annual project done by the Rotaract Club of Kandy, mainly focusing on the Elders. In accordance with this year’s Rotaract theme Inspire the Future, the project was aimed to give the Elders a wonderful and joyful time since it’s the Christmas Season. So the Rotaract Club of Kandy in association with the Interact Club of Hillwood College, Kandy had sung along and ensured that the Elders of the Mahaiyawa Elders Home were in the Christmas spirit. The project was held on 18^th December 2018, chaired by Rtr. Pahan Ratwatte at Mahaiyawa Elders Home.

There are countless times when we have been put down, sidelined and disregarded. But we believe in ourselves and meet every challenge with fortitude and fought through.

“Joy of hearing” project was held on 10^th of December 2018 at Christchurch. The project was chaired by Rtr.Asanka Rathnayake. Project chairs worked so hard to make this project a reality. They contacted several authorized bodies as in ENT Clinic doctors, nurses in Kandy general hospital. We were able to gather information about patients who are in-need of help. With the tremendous assistance of the Rotary Club of Kandy we were able to execute this project successfully.

A stroke of fate… theses hearing aids were donated to five students who are in-need of them.
