It is said that the most innocent and truthful emotions will
be seen only in children. It has also been known that love must be given to
such innocent and honest children.
Hence, we the Rotaract Club of Kandy organized a project to
bring a bunch of innocent hearted children for a visit to Kandy. A group of 25
children and 25 parents from Munwatta Primary school were brought to Kandy on
the 1st of October and were taken to Dalada Maligawa and then to
Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. They were then provided with Lunch and the children
were taken to a Children’s park where they enjoyed so much playing around.
Their enjoying moments and the pure and innocent smiles proved that our effort
was not in vain.
The children, the
parents and of course the members of the Kandy Rotaract club enjoyed every
moment of the world children’s day.
